Shipping policy

At bakkafrostshop.dk, we are committed to delivering our premium products directly to your doorstep with efficiency and care. Below you'll find all the details you need regarding our shipping policy in Denmark.

 

Order Processing

Orders are processed during regular business hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 - 15:00, excluding public holidays. Orders placed outside these hours will be processed on the next business day.

Orders are dispatched on Wednesdays and delivered on Thursdays. Orders will be delivered within 24 hours after dispatch from our facilities in Munkebo.


Pick-up

Pick up is available free of charge in our facilities at Fiskeløkken 1, 5330 Munkebo, Denmark. You will receive a notification when your order is ready for pick up.

Pick up times are between 13-17 from Monday to Thursday. 


Shipping Coverage

We ship to all addresses within mainland Denmark. We apply a shipping surcharge for non-bridged islands (Ø’er).

We have a separate webshop for the Faroe Islands, see here. We do not offer shipping to Greenland. 


Shipping Rates

Shipping rate is calculated at checkout; the rate depends on the order destination. All non-bridged islands have a shipping surcharge of 540 DKK, except for Bornholm (3700–3799) that has a shipping surcharge of 49 DKK.

Free shipping is available on orders over 995 DKK, excluding non-bridged islands.

Order Tracking

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number. You can use this number to track your package's progress to your delivery address.


Shipping material

Please note that fresh and frozen orders are shipped with dry ice. You will find instructions on how to handle the dry ice inside the box. Do not handle without personal protective equipment, such as face shield, gloves and loose fitted clothes.


Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Don't forget to take photo evidence of any issues that may occur.
